Watch as five baking heavyweights, including Earl ‘Big Daddy’ Jones, Erik ‘Cookie Connoisseur’ Gunderson, Rosa ‘da Rumbla’ Woodson, and the grandmother-granddaughter duo of Brittany and Linda ‘Cookie Queens’ Alexander, step into the ring to battle and bake it out.

The stakes are high as Dora Wilson, Anchorage School Board member by day and fierce cookie critic by night, will wield her spatula like a gavel and award just one cookie combatant the coveted title of ‘Gingerbread Ninja Grandmaster.’

It all goes down on Thursday, December 21st, from 5-7 p.m. at IBEW Hall, 3333 Denali St, Anchorage. 

Enjoy steaming hot cocoa (with marshmallows, of course) and have pictures taken with the jolly old man himself.

Yes, that’s right, Santa Claus is #TeamDora and will be making a special appearance, spreading cheer, and granting photo opportunities for good boys and girls of all ages.

With our cookie combatants preparing nearly 500 holiday treats, spectators will enjoy decorating their own cookies to take home while listening to holiday music.
