Voting In Alaska Is Easy!

Pick One Candidate In The Primary And Use Your Voting Superpower To Rank Up To Four Candidates In The General!

Voting in Alaska is easy and empowers voters to weigh in on all candidates in each race!

In the Primary: Just pick one candidate in each race. The top four vote-getters of each race in the primary advance to the General Election.

In the General: and then you can rank them in order of preference on that ballot!

Ranked Choice Voting is easier than you think (and the Republicans would like you to believe). To find out more about the process, just follow the steps below:

1. Go to Alaska.gov
2. Click on the Elections section

3. Scroll down to “Ranked Choice Voting Frequently Asked Questions”. That section will help give you a better idea of how RCV works and what the process looks like when it’s working.
Learning this helps cut through negative interpretations of our election system, so we suggest giving it a shot! Knowledge is power, and knowledge of RCV makes you a more informed, more effective voter.
