AAA Data: Alaska Drivers Are Paying Far More Per Gallon What They Were Paying Last Year

According to data from AAA, many Alaska drivers are now paying a third more per gallon of gas than they were in June 2025. These sky-high gas prices are hitting families across Alaska who are already struggling to get by and are a direct result of the Dan Sullivan-supported war in Iran.

“Dan Sullivan has been too busy enriching himself and tripling his personal wealth while in office to care that Alaskans are struggling to get by,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “Every family paying more at the pump can thank Dan Sullivan, who has continuously voted to continue these price hikes. We won’t forget how he abandoned us for his own interests.”

The AAA data also shows Alaskans are paying a dollar more per gallon than the rest of the country, on average. Despite the financial pain Alaska families are feeling, Self-Serving Sullivan has written off the impacts of his affordability crisis as “externalities”, and has even sent a shameless fundraising email asking his own constituents for gas money.
