Lowering The Cost-Of-Living

No Family Should Have to Choose Between Shelter, Food, and Healthcare.

We will secure affordable housing in safe neighborhoods, provide access to fresh food, and maintain clean water resources. Everyone needs a place to call home, nutritious food for their table, and trustworthy water sources for our fishermen, farmers, and citizens. We will work to ensure Alaskans have the ability not just to stay in-state, but to thrive here.

The Issues

Housing

Alaska housing costs have risen 40% since 2019, leaving immense strain on Alaskan home-buyers and renters.

Healthcare

28,000 Alaskans enrolled with the Affordable Care Act have faced significant healthcare cost increases since the end of 2025.

Food Assistance

Over 60,000 Alaskans depend on food assistance, including our working families and their children – one in six children experience hunger.

Our Solutions

Housing

Encourage funding for community units for low to middle income families while increasing housing supply overall to lower general costs of homes.

Healthcare

Enact healthcare programs that provide affordable costs to Alaskans, because healthcare should be a right to our communities, not a luxury.

Food Assistance

Establish meal plans for children in public schools suffering from hunger- prioritizing their education and future over this crisis.

More Party Priorities:

Funding Our Schools

We will fight to protect and prioritize public education by making fully funding our schools a top priority in our Alaska Legislature.

Rooting Out Corruption

Our leaders should follow ethical standards that align with honesty, transparency, and accountability.
