One year ago, Dan Sullivan voted against releasing the Epstein files. He then received almost $10,000 in campaign cash from Jeffrey Epstein’s associates, including a donor who “appeared in Epstein’s ‘little black book’ of key social and business contacts that Epstein considered important enough to save.”  Sullivan then doubled down when he was the deciding vote to confirm Todd Blanche, betraying Alaskans and Epstein survivors who directly called on Sullivan to block the nomination following Blanche’s mishandling of the Epstein files as Deputy Attorney General. 

“To our great shame here in Alaska, Dan Sullivan voted to keep the Epstein files secret,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “After that, he started receiving money, campaign contributions, including the one we’re memorializing here in this big check. He did not show up to receive his check, though he did keep the campaign contributions that the people in Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘little black book’ gave him.” 

“When I heard that Dan Sullivan voted against the release of the Epstein files and then took $10,000 from associates of Epstein, I was disappointed but not surprised. My heart immediately broke for the survivors here in Alaska who must have felt betrayed and unacknowledged by Sullivan, like myself. It’s unconscionable that Dan Sullivan had the opportunity to release files on … pedophiles and predators and instead voted to keep them concealed,” said Deirdre Goins, a veteran and sexual assault survivor.
