REMINDER: Dan Sullivan Voted Against Releasing the Epstein Files, Took Thousands of Dollars from Jeffrey Epstein’s Closest Associates

As Dan Sullivan tries to hide from his record of self-enrichment, Alaskans remember that he voted against releasing the Epstein files, then received almost  $10,000 in campaign cash from Jeffrey Epstein’s associates, including a donor who “appeared in Epstein’s ‘little black book’ of key social and business contacts that Epstein considered important enough to save.” Sullivan also accepted thousands from Leon Black, who was held in contempt of Congress last month for refusing to elaborate on his close relationship with sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

“A month out from Election Day, Alaskans won’t forget Sullivan’s low regard for survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific abuse. After voting against releasing the Epstein files, Dan Sullivan took money from ultra-wealthy donors who were Epstein’s associates,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “Too many politicians in DC protect the rich and powerful and enable their corruption – and Dan Sullivan, who tried to block the release of the Epstein files to the public, is one of them. Alaskans will remember this disqualifying behavior at the ballot box when they vote Dan Sullivan out.”

Recent reporting from the Alaska Current last month revealed that Leon Black gave money to Dan Sullivan mere months after Black’s close personal relationship with Epstein first came to light. Black appeared on flight logs and made $150 million in payments to Epstein, making Black “the latest—and most high-profile—Epstein associate to be revealed as being on Sullivan’s donor list.”
