This International Workers’ Day, Alaskans have nothing to celebrate when it comes to Dan Sullivan’s record: he has consistently sided with his special interest backers over the Alaska workers he is supposed to represent.
“Dan Sullivan has spent years undermining workers’ rights, hiking costs on Alaska working families, and lining his own pockets along the way,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “Alaska has one of the highest union membership rates in the country and we deserve a senator that actually stands with us, not his special interest campaign donors.”
Self-Serving Sullivan’s record of selling out Alaska workers while enriching himself and his special interest backers:
Despite its support from Alaskans, Sullivan has repeatedly refused to support the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, which would enshrine collective bargaining rights for workers.
Dan Sullivan sides with corporate interests and against Alaska workers: he has repeatedly opposed raising the minimum wage for Alaska workers (1:01:30).
While serving in the U.S. Senate and enacting this price-hiking, anti-worker agenda, Sullivan himself has reported up to $2 million in stock trades, ballooned his personal wealth, and maintained shady ties to special interests that are working against Alaskans.
