NEW: Dan Sullivan Votes in Support of Price-Hiking War for the Eleventh Time

Yesterday, despite Alaskans struggling amid a cost of living crisis he created, Dan Sullivan once again doubled down on his support for the war in Iran that is continuing to send gas prices sky high.

“Instead of doing something to address the affordability crisis he’s created for Alaskans, today Dan Sullivan chose to double down on sky-high gas prices for the foreseeable future,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “Sullivan only cares about self-dealing and advancing his own agenda while Alaskans are paying the price.”

The Sullivan-backed war has skyrocketed gas prices for Alaskans, driving up prices of fuel, goods and airfare in tow. Recent estimates showed that gas prices “could rise between 20 and 50 cents per gallon if the disruption continues” and could even “go up higher than that.” For rural Alaskans, the price-hiking war is causing some of the “highest fuel prices in the nation.”

As of this week, Dan Sullivan has voted for the price-hiking war eleven times (3/4/26, 3/18/26, 3/24/26, 4/15/26, 4/22/26, 5/13/26, 5/19/26, 6/16/26, 6/23/26, 6/24/26, 7/23/26). Despite this, Sullivan has been caught “beg[ging]” for gas money from the very constituents he’s leaving out in the cold, and dismissing Alaskans’ energy costs as mere “externalities” to his campaign.
