Today, Berna-DEBT Wilson accepted an endorsement from Donald Trump in a brazen and desperate attempt to hide her lack of support from Alaskans behind out-of-state politicians who are propping up her campaign in return for total fealty. The Alaska governor’s race is about Alaska, and Berna-DEBT’s attempt to nationalize Alaska’s governorship is evidence that she is more focused on Washington politics than on lowering prices for Alaskans, fixing our broken education system, and supporting our fishing communities. 

This endorsement is doing little to quell the civil war that is raging between Alaska GOP candidates. MAGA Bootlick Bronson recently lamented that the GOP has “failed” and that “leadership has been absent,” and attacked Berna-DEBT Wilson for not having her “personal house in order,” a thinly veiled barb highlighting Berna-DEBT’s inability to pay her bills. Bronson echoes an earlier Truth Social post from President Trump – the person Bootlick Bronson calls the “best president we’ve ever had” – who stated last week that the Alaska GOP is “stupid.”

“The reason Berna-DEBT has spent months trying to get endorsements from the DC swamp is because she is not running to represent everyday Alaskans,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “JKT is the only candidate in the race running to lower energy costs, fully and forward fund education, and deliver for working Alaskans and not kowtow to D.C. interests.”
