At the Alaska Democratic Party’s annual summer picnic, Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft grilled Dan Sullivan for his record of luxury spending on $200 ribeyes while handing out free steaks to Alaskans to bring attention to his self-serving record.
“At some point we got to wonder if we’re the ones getting screwed, skewered, or maybe fried,” said Eric Croft, Chair of the Alaska Democratic Party. “While Alaskans are struggling just to put food on the table, Dan Sullivan is eating at some of the best restaurants in DC.”
Earlier this year, Dan Sullivan was caught racking up thousand-dollar tabs at DC fine dining establishments while Alaskans struggled to afford groceries. A two-person household in Alaska is expected to spend about $420 more this year on essentials like groceries compared to last year, with grocery prices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau hitting record highs, costing over 20% more than the rest of the country.
