ADP Statement on Governor Dunleavy’s Final State of the State

Following Governor Mike Dunleavy’s final State of the State, Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft issued the following statement:

“Dunleavy’s final State of the State felt like it was written by someone who doesn’t even live in Alaska, ignoring the tough reality that many Alaskans are facing with health care and food security in flux, school closures across the state, and struggling fisheries,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “It’s clear that he’s hoping Alaskans will forget about the fact that he vetoed three bills in the past two years to increase education funding, but I can promise you we haven’t forgotten. That’s exactly why we need to elect a strong pro-education, pro-fish, and pro-Alaska Governor this November.”
