“Happy Fat Cat Week to Dan Sullivan, who has spent years padding his pockets and enriching himself at the expense of Alaskans,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “This week we will highlight his self-serving record that Alaskans will vote him out for in November.

Dan Sullivan has tripled his personal wealth while serving in the U.S. Senate – reporting up to $2 million in stock trades and outperforming the stock market by about double, all while Alaskans are being crushed by the cost of living crisis Sullivan created. Sullivan is one of the most prolific stock traders in the Senate, and several of his stocks in his largest holding RPM International – the multibillion-dollar chemicals company run by his brother –  appeared to be suspiciously timed, including selling stock after closed-door meetings leading up to the coronavirus pandemic and before the company released weak earnings reports.

Reporting from the New York Times also revealed that Sullivan has “been rewarded for the company’s financial success” after RPM International raised costs on customers to respond to Sullivan-supported tariffs. 

Dan Sullivan has taken campaign cash from associates of Jeffrey Epstein, including Leon Black, who was held in contempt of Congress last week for refusing to elaborate on his close relationship with Epstein. Black gave money to Sullivan mere months after Black’s close personal relationship with Epstein first came to light. 

Dan Sullivan has blown through this donor cash at lavish restaurants, spending $15,000 at the 116 Club, “a private establishment well-known among DC power players,” and $28,000 at Bistro Cacao, a “French restaurant and one of his most frequented spots.”
