Following recent reporting that shows Dan Sullivan received nearly $10,000 in campaign cash from Epstein associates, Sullivan cast the deciding vote to confirm Todd Blanche as United States Attorney General – betraying Alaskans and Epstein survivors who directly called on Sullivan to block Blanche’s nomination following his mishandling of the Epstein files as Deputy Attorney General.
“Dan Sullivan voted against releasing the Epstein files and took campaign cash from Epstein’s associates, so it’s no surprise he’d vote to confirm Blanche after his mishandling of the files,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “Dan Sullivan only cares about himself and the Epstein associates who write him checks – and Alaskans will remember that at the ballot box in November.”
Before the vote, Epstein survivors called on Sullivan, hoping he might “listen to his constituents” and meet with them to discuss the vote.
This comes after Sullivan voted against releasing the Epstein files and received almost $10,000 in campaign cash from Jeffrey Epstein associates, including a donor who “appeared in Epstein’s ‘little black book’ of key social and business contacts that Epstein considered important enough to save.”
