Begich allows local businesses to suffer despite campaigning on a promise to lower costs
SHOT: Nick Begich claimed he’s “proud to honor” the small businesses and entrepreneurs that help Alaska’s communities grow.
CHASER: Alaska’s small businesses are being crushed by rising health care costs after Begich voted against extending the ACA tax credits. And his repeated votes to rubber-stamp chaotic tariffs are harming Alaska’s industries from fishing, to mining, travel, and tourism.
Reminder: Even Senator Murkowski agreed Begich-backed tariffs were bad for Alaska.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Nick Begich is attempting to pull the wool over Alaskans’ eyes, but they see right through his policies wrecking the Alaska economy and devastating local businesses. Begich promised to lower the cost of living and has failed to deliver. Alaskans won’t forget the pain he’s caused, and will send him packing in November.”
