Alaskans are bracing for a health care disaster after Dan Sullivan repeatedly voted to end the Affordable Care Act tax credits, a move that would strip 7,000 Alaskans of their health care and force 24,000 to see their premiums skyrocket by an average of 125%.
In a state already home to some of the “most expensive health care” in the country, the consequences would be devastating: families crushed with “pretty horrific” cost spikes rising by an “insane amount”. Even with thousands of Alaskans families staring down crippling bills, Sullivan still refuses to support the ACA subsidies.
Dan Sullivan voted seven times against extending ACA tax credits that would lower Alaskans’ health care costs:
- September 30th, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against permanently extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits.
- October 1st, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against permanently extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits.
- October 3rd, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against permanently extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits.
- October 6th, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against permanently extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits.
- October 8th, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against permanently extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits.
- October 9th, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against permanently extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits.
- November 10th, 2025: Dan Sullivan voted against extending the Affordable Care Act’s cost-lowering tax credits for one year.
