Alaska Democratic Party Hires Hard-Hitting Strategist Starre Haas to Fill
Critical Strategic Role in 2022

Coordinated Campaign Director Will Implement Strategic Plan To Elect Democrats

(ANCHORAGE) The Alaska Democratic Party (ADP) is pleased to announce the hire of Starre Hass to fill the role of Coordinated Campaign Director for the 2022 campaign cycle. She will work with other staff members and party leaders to develop and execute strategies to help Democratic candidates win elections at all levels.

Critical to the purpose of the position will be executing the Coordinated Campaign Plan which encompasses candidate training, strategic development, construction of direct mail and digital plan timelines, field programming and voter protection programs.

As Coordinated Campaign Director, Haas will work directly with ADP’s Data Director to set data-driven goals, develop communication structures to collaborate, share information and track progress with partnering campaigns, local parties and state and national allies. She will foster relationships with national organizations that financially and strategically support the goals and objectives laid out in the Coordinated Plan.

Haas brings to her position years of proven leadership experience after having been an Advisory Committee Member of the Arkansas Capitol Zoning District Commission, Student Government Community Liaison for the Clinton School of Public Services and Vice President of the National Organization for Women in Arkansas.

Haas most recently served as Development Director and Trainer of Engagement for Vote Run Lead, an organization dedicated to training culturally diverse groups of women leaders to run for office.

“We are elated that Starre has joined us,” said Lindsay Kavanaugh, Executive Director of ADP. “As fate would have it, the stars aligned, providing the Party with a tour de force who possesses an incredibly impressive background in strategic planning, data analysis and program development. Starre is eminently qualified for her new role at ADP and I have no doubt she will help propel Democratic and progressive candidates to victory in the upcoming election cycle.”

Haas obtained her Masters in Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service and her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas.

Haas has already onboarded and will begin her new position effective immediately.
