BREAKING: Berna-DEBT Wilson, Bootlick Bronson Would Roll Back Minimum Wage

Wilson’s, Bronson’s policies are bad for Alaska workers

In a recent forum, Berna-DEBT Wilson and Dave Bootlick Bronson both enthusiastically said that they want to repeal the minimum wage ballot measure that Alaskans OVERWHELMINGLY supported. MAGA Bootlick Bronson went further in his fealty to Trump’s extreme national agenda by saying “I would repeal them both” – referring to the minimum wage and paid sick leave.

These positions are not only extreme, but they are deeply anti-worker. Bootlick Bronson and Berna-DEBT Wilson have a long history of policies just like this, such as Bronson revoking paid parental leave while mayor of Anchorage and Wilson’s work with Americans for Prosperity.

“Berna-DEBT Wilson and Bootlick Bronson would use their power as governor to make life harder for working Alaskans, just to curry favor with special interests,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “At a time when prices are soaring and everyday Alaskans are having trouble making ends meet, these policies are a slap in the face. JKT is running to move fast and fix things and rolling back the minimum wage law is antithetical to fixing anything.”
