Ahead of Labor Day Weekend, Reminder That Dan Sullivan Has Turned His Back on Alaska Workers Time and Time Again

This Labor Day, Alaska workers have a lot of things to celebrate – but Dan Sullivan’s record isn’t one of them. Self-Serving Sullivan’s AFL-CIO report card last year came in at an abysmal 11%. He has betrayed Alaska workers, voting for bills that go against their best interests time and time again.

“Dan Sullivan has spent years undermining workers’ rights, hiking costs on Alaska working families, and lining his own pockets along the way,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “Alaska has one of the highest union membership rates in the country and we deserve a senator that actually stands with our workers, not his Lower 48 special interest campaign donors.”

Alaska labor leaders and former public servants have laid out how Dan Sullivan’s toxic agenda is slashing services Alaskans rely on and harming Alaska veterans, workers, and communities. Despite its support from Alaskans, Sullivan has repeatedly refused to support the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, which would enshrine collective bargaining rights for workers. He has also opposed raising the minimum wage for Alaska workers.
