Trump’s Bill was approved by the Senate in the early hours of the morning. This bill is deeply dangerous to Alaskans and Americans alike.
Murkowski has falsely claimed that this bill is a good deal for our communities, but it is only good for the ultra-wealthy elites. But what’s really happening is a political sleight of hand; it’s nothing more than a cover-up while they gut critical programs like SNAP and Medicaid for tens of thousands of people across our state.
Now, Trump’s bill is headed back to the House of Representatives to be voted on again — and it’s time that we hold Rep. Nick Begich. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and Sen. Dan Sullivan accountable.
