Help protect voter access across Alaska — before problems reach the ballot box.
Voter Access Liaisons are the Alaska Democrats’ local “eyes and ears” on election administration. Liaisons help us build relationships, gather critical information, identify barriers early, and make sure voters have what they need to cast ballots that count.
During this training, we’ll cover:
✅ What Voter Access Liaisons do
Learn how Liaisons support voter access by tracking local election conditions, staying connected with election officials and stakeholders, and helping the campaign spot potential issues before they impact voters.
✅ How elections are administered in Alaska
Get an overview of Alaska’s election structure, including Regional Election Offices, local clerks, absentee voting, early voting, and Election Day operations.
✅ How to gather and report useful information
We’ll walk through what to look for, how to have productive conversations, and how to share updates with the Voter Access Team.
✅ How this work protects voters
From early voting access to Election Day problem-solving, Liaisons play a foundational role in making sure every eligible Alaskan can cast a ballot that counts.
Whether you’re a longtime voting rights volunteer or brand new to this work, this training will give you the tools you need to get involved.
Join us and help build the statewide team protecting voter access in 2026.
