The Sullivan Victory Committee received $8,500 from one Epstein associate and Dan Sullivan’s campaign received a nearly $700 donation from another Epstein associate, who, according to documents released in the Epstein files, was a trusted advisor to Epstein and was part of Epstein’s proposed “War Council” to defend Trump after the Mueller Russia investigation.

Alaska Republican Senator Dan Sullivan received $10,000 in campaign donations from Epstein associates after voting to block the release of the Epstein files.
Campaign finance records show Sullivan received donations from two individuals: Henry Kravis and Howard Lorber, after Sullivan voted to table a motion requiring the Attorney General to make the Epstein files public.
Billionaire financier Henry Kravis donated $8,500 to the Sullivan Victory Committee on April 1, 2026. Kravis appeared in Epstein’s “little black book,” of key social and business contacts that Epstein considered important enough to save.
A Vanity Fair article from July, 2019 described Kravis’ black book appearance by writing, “How did Kravis, who is usually oh so careful about such things, get into Epstein’s book?” No allegation of wrongdoing has ever been made of Kravis in regards to the Epstein case.
Howard Lorber donated $693 to Alaskans for Dan Sullivan on June 28, 2026. Lorber was in the Epstein files through direct email references and was part of Epstein’s proposed “war council” of Trump associates in response to the Russia investigation.
Conversations documented in the Epstein files revealed that Epstein had floated the idea of a “war council” for Trump to handle messaging fallout from the Robert Mueller investigation into Russia collusion in the 2016 Presidential election.
In one email to an unidentified assistant, Epstein suggested a group of “heavy-hitter” allies that could make up the war council, and suggested Lorber: “I assume you are still close to Ivanka. If so, there are a few of his heavy-hitter friends that would like to help (me not included, of course). I think a war council. Schwartzman, Wynn, Rudy, Lorber, Lefrak, you, Barrack, should be called in to give suggestions.”
Epstein also referred to Lorber as a “best bet” in an email dated November, 2016.
In an email dated October, 2017 with the subject line “Jeffrey Epstein,” David Mitchell said he would call Lorber and “ask him if that’s ok with JEE” in response to a question from Lesley Groff. Mitchell was described as “a friend” of Epstein who partnered with him on real estate investments.
These exchanges came AFTER Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to one count of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18, and was sentenced to 18 months in jail.
In 2025, prior to these donations, Sullivan voted to block the release of the Epstein files by voting to table a motion to direct the Attorney General to make publicly available documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. The vote was 51-49 in favor of the motion to table.
Sullivan is only the latest Republican to receive campaign support from Epstein contacts after voting to keep the evidence of Epstein’s crimes from coming to light. Sullivan is running for a third term in the United States Senate in November.
