BREAKING: Berna-DEBT Wilson, Bootlick Bronson Give Conflicting Responses to Keeping Juneau Capital of Alaska

Wilson’s, Bronson’s current position contradicts past statements

In a recent candidate forum held in Juneau, Berna-DEBT Wilson and Dave MAGA Bootlick Bronson tepidly said they would keep Juneau as the capital of Alaska and live in Juneau during the legislative session. While these bromides might sound appealing, they fundamentally conflict with their actions.

FACT: Bootlick Bronson, in 2019, co-sponsored a ballot initiative that would have moved the legislature from Juneau to Anchorage.

FACT: Berna-DEBT Bronson’s running mate, state Senator Mike Shower, proposed a bill in the legislature that would have moved alternating legislative sessions  to Anchorage.

If they cannot give voters a straight answer for even the most basic questions, how can Alaskans trust them to tell the truth once in office?

“This kind of flip flopping and pandering to voters is indicative of the Republican candidates right now,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “The voters deserve someone who will give them a straight answer and not flip flop when it is politically expedient.”
