GOP Candidates Say “See Ya” to Local Business Leaders, Hob Nob with DC Big Whigs
Berna-DEBT Wilson, Dave Bootlick-Bronson, and Tricky Treg Taylor skipped a forum held by the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce to attend a rally with JD Vance—once again proving that they are more interested in pushing Washington’s cost-raising agenda than doing what’s right for Alaska.
Berna-DEBT Wilson, who has been sued THREE TIMES for outstanding debts related to her waste management company, declined to attend AT LEAST FOUR major events recently, such as the Commonwealth North candidate forum, the Power Association Governor Forum, the Last Frontier Republican Club gubernatorial forum, and the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce forum, where she would have been asked tough questions about her failed business record. She declines to answer questions from Alaskan voters and small business owners but is happy to hobnob with the Vice President and attend ritzy fundraisers in the Lower 48 in swanky locales like Miami and San Diego. Why is Berna-DEBT trying to hide from Alaskans?
Even fellow Republicans want answers. Dave Bootlicker Bronson recently said “someone with this much [sic] financial and legal issues should probably get their own house in order before trying to sell the public on their ability to hold the highest office in our state.” Wilson served as Bronson’s campaign chair in 2020 and EVEN he has serious concerns about her shady business dealings.
“Alaskan small businesses are being squeezed left and right and it is revealing that Berna-DEBT Wilson, Bootlick Bronson, and Tricky Treg Taylor would turn their backs on Alaskan businesses at a time like this,” said Alaska Democratic Party Chair Eric Croft. “While the other candidates are kiting off to hang out with Washington politicians, JKT is actually committed to listening to Alaskans of all political persuasions, hearing their concerns, and working to solve problems, which is exactly how he will govern in Juneau.”
