We’re especially thankful and we’re celebrating by hosting a “Juneteenth Make It Monday Luncheon” in partnership with the Anchorage Chamber on Monday\, June 19th\, 11:30 AM at the Dena’ina Center.\n\nCelebrating Juneteenth as a community is especially important in light of the ongoing impacts of the events of the world\, nation\, and communities of color\, even right here in Anchorage. We’re asking organizations and businesses to join us in our effort to recognize the importance of this holiday by making it more than just a day off.\n\nJoin the Alaska Black Caucus as we reflect\, educate and celebrate by purchasing a table and filling it with individuals that can work with us to bring about change. Thank you in advance for standing in solidarity with us as we introduce you to our community and work with you to help make a difference for everyone in Anchorage.
